Ecosystem-based Adaptation: Perspectives from Guatemala
A new short film shares various perspectives on Ecosystem-based Adaptation from Guatemala
Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) is a human- and nature-centred approach to climate change adaptation and sustainable development that focuses on safeguarding the resilience of biodiversity and ecosystem services. As such, EbA offers nature-based solutions for people and ecosystems to cope with the risks and impacts of climate change.
In this short film about EbA in Guatemala, several sifferent actors share their experiences and knowledge on how to implement and scale EbA, particularly at the community level. The film was produced as part of the Climate-SDG Integration Project, implemented by TMG Research, WWF Mesoamerica and ADIMI in Guatemala, with financial support by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU).
