2nd Governor’s Day with Farmers
Bringing farmers and policy-makers closer together
In February 2022, TMG supported the successful inauguration of Governor’s Day with Farmers in Kakamega County of western Kenya where the then Governor of Kakamega County officially declared Governor’s Day with Farmers as an annual consultative forum between farmers and the top policymakers on the annual county agenda.
TMG's partners, Kakamega County Farmers Association (KACOFA) and Shibuye Community Health Workers, have continued to steer the consultation process and will host the second edition of the event in collaboration with the Kenya National Farmers Federation (KENAFF), Kakamega County Young Agripreneurs Association (KCYAA) and the Kakamega County Government.
