Exploring early warning systems to counter emerging transboundary threats
Taking place in the lead up to CFS 50, this event will draw on TMG’s extensive work on the recent desert locust upsurge and the urgent need for better Early Warning Systems (EWS) and early action.
The Multistakeholder Meeting will provide a forum for discussion on transboundary threats emanating from the climate crisis and how the interplay of science, infrastructure, data management tools and a global governance model can build a more resilient future for food systems.
