The conference will focus on the question of how a fundamental sustainability transformation can be shaped to enable a good life for all within planetary boundaries. The conference will discuss four core issues of a green and just transformation:
Green and just Transition: how can it succeed: European Green Deal and its social components
Transforming the transport sector for everyone: How to achieve more so- cially just and environmentally friendly mobility
Transformation to an environmentally sound and just food system: From bacon to beans – unlocking the potential of plant-based diets
Healthy planet, healthy people: Pathways to sustainability at the interface of health, environment, climate and social justice
The conference aims at identifying areas of agreement and of conflict with regard to the green and just transformation towards sustainability, and to find solutions. We will use innovative and participatory formats which have the potential to provide successful impulses in society and politics for a green and just transformation.
TMG Research's Managing Director Alexander Mueller will participate in the panel discussion on “Transformation to an environmentally sound and just food system: From bacon to beans – unlocking the potential of plant-based diets'.
