Insecure land tenure affects the ability of people, communities, and organizations to make changes to land that can advance adaptation and mitigation. Cadasta enables local communities, Indigenous groups, NGOs, and governments to map, document, and manage land and resource claims and community boundaries. Using our tools and training, partners can analyze their data, track and monitor environmental changes, and advocate for strengthened land and resource rights.

The session will provide practical approaches and examples from users implementing similar initiatives to empower local actors and build sustainable land governance.
