ECOBARI (Ecosystem-based Adaptation for Resilient Incomes), of which TMG is a founding member, is delighted to extend a warm welcome to the second session of “
The Southbound Resilience Webinars”. This webinar series aims to identify and explore opportunities and challenges in scaling up Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) in the Global South. By fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among EbA practitioners, we aspire to delve into valuable insights and lessons that promote nature-based solutions.
This webinar in the series will focus on the convergence of Water Governance for EbA. The session will explore two case studies featuring the work of
SOPPECOM and
Gram Gaurav Pratishthan. Following a welcome note by Arjuna Srinidhi, the National Anchor of ECOBARI, our webinar moderator Dr Eshwer Kale from
W-CReS, will contextualise Water Governance for EbA. The spotlight will then shift to our distinguished speakers - Dr Neha Bhadbhade from SOPPECOM, a TMG partner in the
SEWOH Lab, who will delve into the
"Role of digital technologies for Water Governance" and Dr Sonali Shinde from Gram Gaurav Pratishthan will focus on a case study titled
"Pani panchayat model for sustainable communities".
