The 2nd National Forum on Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) was held virtually in November 2020 including three technical sessions and a political dialogue to discuss and reflect on the possibilities of reactivating the economy from the EbA perspective due to the environmental and socio-economic crises faced by the country. Participants also discussed the need to implement EbA in public policies. As evidence of the country’s progress, the National Council for Protected Areas, in representation of the EbA Technical Group, presented the Road Map to escalate the EbA. It was concluded that it is vital to reactivate the economy of the country by applying Nature-based Solutions such as EbA to promote sustainable development and resilience.
