Working with its partners and collaborators around the world, TMG will co-organise three events in early November alongside the COP 26 discussions in Glasgow, Scotland. The discussions will bring together TMG staff, researchers, government officials, and national and international organisation staff.

Scaling and financing Ecosystem-based Adaptation interventions, 4th November, 15:00 - 16:15 GMT

This discussion will present scaling and financing mechanisms for EbA based on participants' experiences from Africa and India. With CIFOR-ICRAF, Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment, Watershed Organization Trust and AuctusESG.

Understanding the interconnectedness: lessons learnt from the ongoing desert locust crisis 2019-2021+, 6th November, 10:30 - 12:00 GMT

This event, part of the Global Landscapes Forum conference GLF Climate: Forests, Food, Finance - Frontiers of Change, brings together world-leading experts to discuss the ongoing upsurge in desert locust numbers, particularly in the Horn of Africa and Western Asia. With the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD).

Agroecology: Ecosystem-based Adaptation in Agriculture, 6th November, 12:00 - 13:30 GMT

This event, also part of the GLF Climate conference, presents agroecology as ecosystem-based adaptation in agriculture, and argues for an integrated and collaborative approach between agriculture and climate change communities. With Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and CIFOR-ICRAF.
