TMG joins Global Landscapes Forum as 31st Charter Member
GLF Members are committed to building landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient.

In signing the GLF Charter, TMG - Think Tank for Sustainability aims to strengthen its contribution to the broad-based alliances for change that are critically needed to transform current unequal and unsustainable development pathways. The GLF brings together some of the world’s leading development, environmental, farmer, rights and research organizations, who are committed to the vision of building landscapes that are productive, prosperous, equitable and resilient.
The launch of the new partnership coincides with the official launch of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030). According to TMG's Managing Director Alexander Müller, the Decade can only be really successful "if we strengthen linkages at different levels: between the global and local; and between science and the enabling policy environment for driving action at the requisite scale.”
In collaboration with fellow GLF members, World Agroforestry and WWF International, TMG will host a side event at the upcoming GLF Africa Digital Conference on Restoring Africa's Drylands on 2nd June 2021. The event will address the theme, "Community-led restoration for carbon-enhancing landscapes."
