The forum will be held prior to the 51st session of the UN Committee on World Food Security that is going to decide on the CFS Policy Recommendations on Strengthening FSN Data Collection and Analysis Tools for Food Security and Nutrition. It will offer a platform for project implementers, researchers, policy makers and donors to exchange on key questions relating to digital innovations and data in food systems transformation. Specifically, the forum will feature digital, scalable tools, along with their analog complements to make these tools work for those they intend to serve. Rather than pursuing an all-encompassing demand for more data, the forum will discuss how to embed digital tools and data in an enabling social and institutional environment to support food system transformation.
