Clara Mi Young Park

Clara Mi Young Park is the Senior Gender Officer and Gender Team Leader in the Rural Transformation and Gender Equality Division of FAO Headquarters. Clara has worked on gender equality and human rights with civil society organizations and with the FAO in several regions including Asia Pacific, Near East and North Africa and most recently in Sub Saharan Africa. Clara has worked on women’s land rights in the context of agrarian transitions and is currently the FAO focal point for SDG 5a2. Clara holds a PhD in Development Studies with a focus on feminist political ecology from the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague. She has authored numerous technical publications, articles in peer-reviewed academic journals and book chapters.
