Gerrit Hansen is a climate and sustainable development researcher and political adviser with interests spanning international climate policy, green finance, renewable energy, and regenerative land use. Since 2020 she has directed the climate change programme at the Robert Bosch Foundation in Berlin. She was part of the science team for the IPCC. As a science policy advisor she has worked for the environmental and development NGO Germanwatch e.V., and the German IPCC Coordination Office.
