Kathleen Davis

Kathleen Davis is the Director of Strategic Engagement for the Waging Justice for Women initiative, which aims to advance the rights of women and girls through strategic litigation and legal advocacy at the national regional, and international levels. Prior to joining CFJ, Kathleen served as the Senior Foreign Policy Advisor to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, where her work included promoting human rights and gender equality through the development and implementation of Canada’s feminist foreign and international assistance policies. Kathleen has worked in various capacities in the field of international human rights, including at UN Women, the International Criminal Court, the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, and Human Rights Watch. She has also worked as a freelance journalist and producer for Christiane Amanpour at CNN International in London.
