Luc Gnacadja
President
Luc Gnacadja is a member of the World Future Council, and was Executive Secretary of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification from 2007 to 2013. In this capacity he played an instrumental role in developing the concept of "land degradation neutrality” that was subsequently adopted as target 15.3 under the Sustainable Development Goals. He was Minister of Environment and Urban Development of Benin between 1999 and 2005.
