Founder & CEO

Dr. Mawaki Chango is a researcher and a consultant in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). He has nearly 20 years of experience working on societal issues related to ICT, consulting for several international organisations, agencies, and foundations. As the Founder and Managing Director of DigiLexis Consulting he works to promote internet-enabled entrepreneurial opportunities in Africa and support governments to improve their operations in the digital age. With a research focus on policy in internet governance, digital transformation and digital identity he was recently a member of the founding Board of Trustees at Sovrin Foundation, dedicated to building a trustworthy identity layer to the Internet, and a WHO Temporary Advisor as a member of the Working Group on Technical Specifications and Governance Frameworks for Digital Vaccination Certificates.
