Habib Rezwana Osman is Executive Secretary of the Malawi Human Rights Commission, an independent institution charged with protecting rights guaranteed by the Malawian constitution or any other law, and investigating any violations of these rights. Prior to taking up this position she worked for UN Women in Kenya and Malawi, and as a Gender Justice Expert and Anti-Human Trafficking Advocate for Norwegian Church Aid in Malawi. She has a Master in International Human Rights Law from the law school of the University of Notre Dame.
