Mónica Guerra is co-founder of Comida do Amanhã Institute, a think-tank supporting the transition towards healthy and sustainable food systems in Brazil. Graduated as an Architect (Oporto University / Portugal); she holds a M.Sc. in Urban Planning and Management (Aalborg University / Denmark) and is currently a PhD candidate at the Centre of Social Studies of the University of Coimbra in the area of Sociology: Cities and Urban Cultures (University of Coimbra / Portugal), where she studies Urban Foodscapes, with scholarship from FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, an agency of the portuguese government.
