Sedef Erçetin
Sedef Erçetin Gencosmanoğlu is a distinguished leader in international cooperation and public health, currently serving as the Head of International Cooperation at a prominent Turkish NGO specializing in public health initiatives. With a master’s degree in international Affairs and Management from Italy, complemented by bachelor’s degrees from METU in Ankara, Turkey, Sedef brings a wealth of academic excellence to her role. Her career commenced as a Project Researcher at WHO and the World Bank in 2009, where she laid the foundation for her expertise in global health affairs. Throughout her career, Sedef has been instrumental in fostering collaboration between her organization and various international bodies, including UN agencies and other INGOs. She holds key responsibilities as the Executive Manager for Annual Forums on critical issues such as "Women’s Forum on Addiction and Recovery" and "Youth Advocacy," showcasing her commitment to driving positive change. Additionally, Sedef is an esteemed member of the European Association of International Education (EAIE), EURAD, and WFAD's Global Gender Group, where she actively contributes to advancing global health and education agendas. With her strategic acumen, governance skills, and dedication to sustainable development goals, Sedef continues to make significant contributions to the field, ensuring impactful outcomes for communities worldwide.
