Washe is a Land Governance specialist with a background in Geospatial Information Systems and over nine years’ experience in implementing projects and programmes aimed at improving livelihoods through sustainable management of land and land-based resources. Prior to joining TMG, he was a Land Technical Specialist for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (Kenya Country Office), supporting the implementation of the EU-funded Land Governance Programme. He also writes and is a frequent contributor to the Business Daily’s Op-Ed section, with his articles informing discussions on land governance, sustainable development and other social issues.
